Our benefit pull will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023.
Look for us at the West End Fairgrounds in Gilbert, PA. This event is promoted to help a local family in this area who may need some assistance. This year's Benefit Pull is for the family of Mark Boyle. Mark was a good friend of the tractor club and an active tractor puller. We were all saddened to have learned of his tragic untimely death earlier this year and even though it does not ease the grief of the family, we hope that we are able to give them some help with other things. Food will be available on the premises for sale that day. Please join us in this event to benefit a worthy cause. Bring out your tractors and hook to our sled and let's have some fun. Registration will begin at 10:00AM. Club members - as usual, help is always needed and appreciated.
Don't forget, hoagies will return this month. We will be making "oh so good" hoagies at our museum facility. Our first order must be received by on October 12, 2023. hoagies will be made on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Our second hoagie sale for November will be as follows: Orders must be returned by November 9, 2023 and made on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Check out our hoagie page in the navigation or click here to download an order form.
OCTOBER 12, 2023
IS NATIONAL FARMER'S DAY. CELEBRATE OUR FARMERS AND THE HARD WORK THAT THEY DO, AS WELL AS THE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT THEY MAKE TO OUR ECONOMY AND LIVELIHOODS. LET OUR FARMERS KNOW THAT WE APPRECIATE THEM. FROM PREPARING THE SOIL, TO PLANTING, TO CARING FOR THE CROPS AND HARVESTING, FARMERS, PAST TO THE PRESENT, ARE THE BACKBONE OF THIS COUNTRY. OUR CLUB WOULD LIKE TO PAY TRIBUTE TO OUR MANY FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS, ESPECIALLY, IN OUR AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITY.
Come on out and join us. History is always alive in our club!
